I really love this sword. Is it an exact recreation of a true Viking era sword. No. What it is though, is a very cool modern rendition of a Viking sword. Think of it as if a Viking from 900 AD traveled 1600 years into to the future and had a sword made to be perfect. THIS is the sword he would have made and traveled back to his time with. He would become the envy of his time!!!
The blade is awesome. I love the distinct style of blades that Saber Smith makes. It’s unique and an identifier. No one can get confused as to who made this blade. This is a rare quality in many swords today. It’s not “slice paper” sharp or “shaving sharp”, but it’s sharp enough to slice through your standard tatami mats, targets, water jugs, and alien invaders with ease. It’s definitely beefy, durable and flexible enough not to chip or shatter.
Of all my many swords, if I had to trust my life with a sword, this is the one. It can for sure sever limbs. Definitly a chopping and thrusting sword although not for slicing.
This sword makes me wish a zombie apocalypse happens for a day… cause I’m down for the job! Plus; zombies only eat brains… so I’m safe lol!
